Kole Lind STRUGGLING In The AHL / Utica Comets (Vancouver Canucks Prospect Talk – Kelowna Rockets)

Vancouver Canucks prospect Kole Lind is currently at six assists in over twenty Utica Comets games, and is not producing at the rate that most Canucks fans would’ve expected. Is there more behind the numbers in this scenario?

  1. In my opinion, next year, goldobin over schaller, Hughes over pouliot, olli over biega and move bo to C because hes a good team player

  2. Good stuff. This looks like one of the main reasons that minor hockey stars have an issue translating it to that next level in the AHL. Nevertheless, it sounds like he does possess the tools to make that transition. Reminds me of Virtanen.

  3. Kole lind is a big project. I've always seen him as another virtanen when it comes to his development. We need to be patient with him. I think he will improve as time goes on with the right coaching and training.

  4. Ive said it before on one of ur videos and ill say it again. Maybe the Utica Comets are just horrible at developing prospects?

  5. Thanks for the video. I think with Cole Lind, it's not about his talent, it's about his work ethic and what's between his ears. If he can figure out the correct way to play he will be fine as he does have the talent.

  6. This seems to be the trend for all of our prospects (palmu, Joanavich,Dahlen ) whats going on down there

  7. I think it's just the coaching staff and management down there. Every prospect to leave that the has done better after leaving them. Good thing Pettey didn't go there.

  8. Cull needs to realize his job is developing prospects, not give career AHLers big minutes…..even if the Goldobin comps are accurate, Goldy is in the NHL

  9. If anything I'm more concerned about Gadjovich than Lind, since Gadjovich has literally struggled to keep up conditioning-wise. While this struggle for guys like Lind and Gadjovich might not be fully expected, I think that it's a good wake up call for them, and this offseason for them is going to be the most important of their careers.

  10. Everyone's forgetting he was doing well way back when before Gaudette got called up, then Lind got sick/injured, and Gaudette got called up. He's had some points in his last few games since Gaudette came back, I think he's more of a complimentary player than a guy who can drive a line by himself still.

  11. Lind has been good in the weekend series against Cleveland. Looked like a different player. Needs to work on breakaways though. Usually doesn’t even get a shot off. I wouldn’t blame his linemates like lots of Canucks fans on twitter did. Arseneau and Darcy are having a better season than Lind. Maybe he’ll start heating up after last weekend.

  12. Can you predict if Pettersson will make it to the All Star game, or is it better to rest him??
