The average so cal kid surfs good and can do air rees. But to keep the rail in the water with clean carves and flowing looking good with style I say is kinda lack luster. I think there are surfers that can't do airs rees that look way better to watch when surfing a good solid wave that requires no widening the legs to sting bug stance to do an air. Airs are rad don't get me wrong. I don't say this cause I don't do them anymore either . I admire a good air here and there.
