True fact, Luke Schenn got his 3,000th career hit with the Vancouver Canucks.
Slower … The Maple Leafs will get slower … Tampa Bay will pass Toronto in the next 2 weeks!!
A pylon, Toronto loves getting those pylons at the trade deadline
The Leafs are getting what they need. Grit and defensive awareness on the back end. For years, that’s been their problem. They have good regular seasons, but defensively, on the blue line, they’ve not been good enough. Sure, Schenn isn’t exactly the fastest skater and he’s older, but he’s smart, gritty and reliable. I’m a Canucks fan and he’s been the best defensive player overall here for a while. He rarely gets caught out of position. Sure, he’s not going to catch someone on a breakaway, but when he’s on the ice, he’s usually the guy back, so that’s not a problem. He’s exactly what the Leafs need.
10 forwards, 8 defense?
Luke played 11 games in one Stanley Cup winning playoff run for Tampa. Will be interesting to see – how he compares with other Leaf D – men?
I noticed last game against the Bruins, that early in game, the Leafs were outhitting the Sabres by a good margin. That is a rare event in Leaf hockey of the past. I wouldn't be surprised if it changed mid-game, when they let up.
Enough of the 11 7 .
Give Steevies a shot on the wing
Not many teams will play 11 7 in the playoffs.
Luke schenn is awesome put him in the lineup and conversation over goodbye Justin holl
3 wins in April
whats the point of trading for him if he isnt even going to play? stupid
According to Keefe he will fit in the press box nicely
Uhhh, how many more goals have you given up since you got him? You almost winless with him too right? Nucks have one of the strongest defenses now that they got rid of him and are almost unbeaten, what do you think you are getting? Honestly?
