Mikko Rantanen is one of the most underrated players in the NHL. This past season, Rantanen scored the most goals in a season in the Colorado Avalanche’s franchise history with 55 goals in 82 games. Rantanen has already accomplished so much in his NHL Career and he is just entering his prime now. In my opinion, he is the best power forward in the NHL. This is why I think Rantanen is going to help the Colorado Avalanche win more Stanley Cups in the future.

On a team with Makar/Mckinnon-he probably will always be underrated. But I was just making the point-as somebody who works at Ball arena. We are so damn lucky to have 5 SUPERSTARS(Jokic,Makar,Mckinnon,Murray,& Rantanen)-who are not only great players-but loyal to Denver,care deeply bout their teammates,& care deeply bout winning.
All 5 seem to be great humans…no Ja"wannabe gangsta" nonsense or off court drama with these 5. Or putting their own ego ahead of team success. Mico is a top 15…maybe top 10 player on earth…he just happens to be 3rd best on his own team. But hopefully the Avs get a lil injury luck this yr-as Mico was the rare Av who stayed healthy last yr-& after winning the nhl/nba back 2 back…its not impossible that Ball might be hosting the NBA/NHL Finals simultaneously next June. Avs WILDLY overachieved last yr with the injuries-considering they were the most injured nhl deffending champ in around 3 decades.

He's a true complete hockey player. Size, speed, skill, shot – everything. I hope the Avs as a team can stay healthier next season and maybe win another cup.
Underrated? He gets a lot of credibility my dude.
