I really liked your take on this. There is options if he doesn’t bounce back. There is definitely some players that would like to get extra minutes to shine. That being said just like you said, I think he will bounce back 👍
I feel like he plays a bit scared of getting injured again, his confidence is not there and it shows. I hope he can get some early success and get his mojo going! He needs to carry the puck more not just be the bumper or slot guy.
Given the situation, every opportunity needs to be given to him for the next two seasons. Hope that something clicks in gis game and he can find his stride..
