Seems good, not great, but good.
I would have had Loof and Buchinger higher on the list — but I’m not an expert like Pronman is. I’m super excited for Loof, he seems like an asshole to play against, although I’ve got super limited knowledge on him so I could be way off.
Like others have said, Bolduc being low sucks but if his compete isn’t there that’s going to get you dropped down the list. Hopefully it’s a case of him being so good that he doesn’t need to compete but WILL when he gets moved to the AHL. Perhaps higher competition could fuel him to work harder.
What really sucks for me is that Theo Lindstein is projected to be a third pair guy — seems like we may have reached a bit on that last first round pick.
Also, what praise for Neighbours — at least from a compete perspective, that’s great to hear.
Seems like Army and Co are looking for high compete guys to provide competition to raise everyones game while we rebuilt/tool. Love it.

This is exactly why I am skeptical of a “quick retool.” Fans tend to overestimate the projections of prospects and view the prospect system in a vacuum without comparing them to other teams. They also figure every prospect is going to meet his projection as if we didn’t draft Erik Johnson with the number 1 overall pick. Even if you want to be generous and say that Pronman is vastly underrating the system, it’s hard to view the Blues current prospects as more than middle of the pack in a 32 team league. Most of the big 4 d are under contract for the next 3 to 4 years, and there is not a lot of help immediately on the horizon, so I don’t know what ownership’s definition of “quick” is.
