  1. You heard it here first: Vegas defends, gets the Back-2-Back, but during the season endures: a trade controversy, an injury people meme about being for cap circumvention, and a storyline about the mistake of trading Smith as Pittsburg has a really good year (But loses in round 2 of the playoffs).

  2. The Knights may have won the Stanley Cup last season, this season, they won't be so lucky. The Vegas Golden Knights (or should I say the Golden Frauds) will not repeat as Stanley Cup Champions.

  3. I can see them winning another cup. Forward group is super deep. That first line with eichel-marchesso-barbashev is going to be lethal. D core is also strong and deep. Goaltending might not be the best but they cen cover it up with the way they play so tight in their own zone

  4. I’m not a Vegas fan but I also don’t hate them. It’s impressive how quickly they’ve grown a community of people that do hate them. Must be doing something right.

  5. I see them dominating the west again and going to the finals but not getting lucky with a weak team this time and losing.

  6. The team has most of the core that won last year. I think Logan Thompson is the real deal if he can be healthy. Can they run it back? Maybe, but it'll be tough. 1st in the Pacific, 107-112 points.

  7. blackhawks also showed you don’t need a 10mil $ goalie to win, depth is key

  8. I went to CNA to buy some VGK Champions merch and they had the same stuff on sale on the website. Not a lot of variety or quality.

  9. Channel vote LoL, SALTY 🧂We love it. Let's get that juice cup again and put a box of Kleenex in it.

  10. I just came to the comments to get a good laugh at the haters. So far I have not been disappointed lol.

  11. Marchessault is gonna get a raise next year but other than that, they have been pretty stable since the season ended.
they got all their picks to trade and will be a contender for the cup.

  12. It just won't surprise me if the Vegas Golden Knights become the Stanley Cup Dynasty Team of the 2020s. The last few years especially it looks like no other team in the NHL wants to even try to figure them out. You can say it's mainly about the Knights' extreme depth, how their front office is run, their coaching, etc., but really one big part of this is the mentality of every other NHL team. They need to stop acting like Vegas is unbeatable and scary if they're ever going to have a chance to dethrone them.

Also, I'm not guaranteeing VGK go back-to-back and win 2 Stanley Cups in a row, but before 2029 ends, yeah, they'll have at least 3 Stanley Cups on their trophy shelf. That's not necessarily a good thing for the NHL, which I'll need to go into depth about in the future.

I don't hate the VGK fans for supporting their team. I just hate this "environment" that the NHL purposely set up, gift-wrapping so many benefits for the VGK on a silver platter when they entered the league. The VGK clearly get preferential treatment via the refs and Bettman. The Vegas Golden Knights have already become the team everyone loves to hate for many reasons.

  13. Didn't Lehner file bankruptcy after purchasing a venom farm?

  14. Vegas's defense is the most underrated and most impressive part of the roster. So many unselfish players on the blue line that are willing to sacrifice their bodies to block every shot they possibly can. They also have some quality scoring in that group, and there is no defensive pairing that makes me nervous. They play great hockey.

  15. Vegas is the definition of "its nothing personal, its just business" in the way they operate. I wouldnt be suprised if they go on another run.

  16. “This just in The Las Vegas Golden Knights, in a 3 way deal with Vancouver, have traded their captain Mark Stone and a first round draft pick for Matthew Tkachuk from the Florida Panthers”
