I remember being angry the Habs picked Mailloux over Raty back in 2021 for more reasons beyond his behavior in Sweden. I hope he proves me wrong on and off the ice.

Well finally made a decision. That was awful. I got an news article 2 nights ago Montreal was in talks to sign a big contract and are willing to pay high to play with Suzuki, Cole and Dach. It was from the Canadians News cause i get the articles on my cell phone. Then it said more to come. lol.

I think there is only 1 spot left for salary retention because of Edmundson and Petry. I wouldn’t waste the third place on Desmith. Better to take on a bad contract in the last year and try to get another 1st round pick if we can and then flip that player at 50% to get another 2nd or 3rd round pick.
What Mailloux did was kids play compared to what NBA and NFL thugs post every day from strip clubs etc😮

I don’t agree with the value of Allen, he was terrible last season at 891 and his contract is much worse than Desmith. In my opinion the reason they don’t trade him is that nobody will take that contract for a really really mid goalie
