Anther great video! Thanks for your consistent content. As we discussed before Goodrow is incredibly versatile. Maybe even more versatile than Vesey, maybe. But Vesey isn't an center and Goodrow is a legit center. Peter Laviolette is a pragmatic coach and he's smart. I doubt he's going to break up the top two left wing and center combos, which leads to two top six right wing spots available. Let Goodrow man the third line center role consistently. Force a training camp battle for top six right wingers, let Chytil, Kakko, Laffy and Wheeler fight for those top two spots. Both Kakko and Chytil have the drive to be top six wingers this year! Panarin and Trocheck need somebody willing to get in the corners and fight which might be more suited for Wheeler but I know Kakko and Chytil have what it takes to be there too. The two that don't make it, most likely Laffy on the third line left wing and whomever on the right. Agreed that Goodrow's contract is a little lofty. However we would be measuring him differently if we had made it to the Cup. We have a great team this year!
