Concessions Blackout Night

“Front Office Sports tweeted out how much food you can get at Falcons and Atlanta United FC home games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for just $20: A bag of popcorn, chicken strips and fries, a hot dog, nachos, a soft drink, a soft pretzel and a giant slice of pizza.”

Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium has reduced concessions pricing significantly in 2017. $2 hot dogs and $5 beers. [“It’s meant happier fans, and also higher profits. According to Falcons president and CEO Rich McKay, fans spent 16 percent more overall in the first year, even with price cuts of 50 percent.”](https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/mercedes-benz-stadium-5-beers-and-2-hot-dogs-why-mercedes-benz-stadiums-radical-pricing-worked/)

I propose we fans decide a night early on this season where we’re going to black out concessions sales to make a stand. $15 for chicken tenders and fries and $16 for a beer is outrageous. More people would eat inside the arena and I imagine they would see an increase in profits if they were to adopt a MBS pricing structure.

They just got a new food vending service for the entire arena. Prices will probably be going up.
