I could see the Leafs management of old wasting money on an over the hill player like Vinny and tying themselves up, but not this new management, let Kadri play the top line and somehome try and trade or wait until they develop their own top line centre, time to build right this time.
I hope they can land at least two of either vinny, clarkson, clowe, penner, scuderi, ference etc. We need big boys than can actually play, especially for our 3rd and 4th lines. We can't a 4th line that's only out there to brawl.
Half the team were playoff virgins so it's a learning experience for them, that experience will only improve this team when it comes to holding onto a lead.
