No, it's not, not after they added Lekkerimaki
Obviously we are all excited about Lekkerimaki, but I'm also quite intrigued by the next two tiers of guys like RePetey, Lucas Forsell, Jonathan Myrenberg, Viktor Persson, Daimon Gardner, Arvid Costmar, Ty Young, Arturs Silovs, Jackson Dorrington, Dmitri Zhlodeyev, Kirill Kudryavtsev, Joni Jurmo, and some of the older guys like Aidan McDonough, Linus Karlsson, Nils Aman, and Arshdeep Bains. I think every one of those players has something in their tool set to be intrigued about, of course it will be on the player development staff to be able to unlock more from these players
Yes, the prospect pool is weak.
However, the Canucks NHL team at forward is already packed full of good players from top to bottom.
Yes, it would be nice to have a few more really good defensive prospects in the pipeline, but at forward there is no pressing need for young players…
If the Canucks can find one or two more good defensemen from free agency or the waiver wire, the team will be set…
