  1. Allvin is scared to draft a dud and look really bad. He's already getting heat for Lekkerimaki 9 months after the pick.

  2. The Canucks management is doing exactly what they said they would do: retool in the fly, get younger – 25 year-age range, get quicker, improve the D, find diamonds in the rough / cast offs who have a chance at a regular roster spot.

  3. I think for us Canucks fans, we have seen this type of trade many times and the plus/minus results wise is minus…..

The OEL trade has gotta be amongst the worst trades in history for example. But then there's the JT Miller trade that was a giant win.

We know the team needs quality young players on entry level contracts and the cupboard is pretty bare in that regard.

Plus, there is the pretty below par drafting of the canucks to factor in. So I can't complain about the trade, I just want us go start hitting on some picks in the coming drafts.

  4. Aquilini is more interested in 2 games of playoff revenue than ever being a serious contender. Largely an asset to rinse the families various assets through.

  5. I get the feeling Petey would leave as soon as he's a UFA if the team isn't rapidly trending up, so I can see why they're going all in again. It's just painful to watch. They could have waited until summer to probably have a larger pool of Dmen to choose from (this from Drance's rant on another show lol). They'd also then know about the Islanders' draft position. Now, that's gone.

  6. I like how Frankie is logical not emotional like Drance. Everyone knows the rebuild is the way to go but Drance having a melt down isnt going to change anything it's just annoying. People need to stop saying they have no plan because it's not the plan they want.

  7. The fan base was yelling for better rhd since last year and we got one now. I think they did overpay with the added second round pick

  8. The Hronek move was actually neither rebuild nor retool, so much as simply the inevitable biting of the bullet that you knew had to come at some point. Because they need SOMEBODY on defence besides Quinn Hughes. The poor guy is playing half the game, for heaven's sakes. Mortgaging a little bit of the future is simply the price that they had to pay to get out from under part of Benning's legacy. The inevitable buyouts that will hurt their cap situation fall into the same category.

  9. He's definitely got the voice and sound for TV and radio commentary. And obviously he knows hid stuff

  10. Hahaha ya man a re-tool.. another nuckle head whos in denial. Blow the team up, take aquilini behind the barn. Nucks are always in trouble and sucks sucks sucks.

  11. There is a good saying 1) you’re never as good as you think you are & 2) you’re never as bad as you think you are. It kinda explains a good or bad round of golf. This is a transition time for the Leafs – so it might take a few more game for 1) coaching adjustments & 2) players to adjust to playing with each other. All the teams – even bottom ones – are NHL teams.
