The NHL has FINALLY made a Decision?

OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at the big news that surfaced yesterday regarding Habs prospect Logan Mailloux. According to TVA sports Renaud Lavoie, Gary Bettman has officially given the green light to Mailloux that he can play in the NHL. But where will he play this season? the OHL, the AHL, or the Montreal Canadiens?

The articles that were in the video were screenshots from Habsfanatics.com, I highly reccommend you to check out this site for further Habs News,

  1. Great news. He should get a decent look and his OHL time should certainly be over.

  2. I think the roster could vary a lot depending on training camp / early season

  3. as someone who got to watch a lot of knights games I think 1 more year in the OHL would do him good, he was clearly the knights best defenseman but he wasn't dominating in the playoffs. The AHL would probably be a good step but honestly think he would learn more playing 1 more year in london before he goes to the AHL next year.

  4. Just cause of his lack of playing time over last few years,,,I think he'll start in Laval

  5. junkie happys now lol now if we get rid of the dead weight then you gotta break out the newfie screech haha

  6. Logan will eventually rock. Hope he always refuses to speak with The Athletic's Arpon Basu. The cancel-culture representative.

  7. bout time he got the go ahead as although he messed up how in the world did Bettman have a say as he was not under NHL jurisdiction but in Sweden… there are a lot of players in NHL who did a hell of a lot worse then he did and bought their way out with no punishment from NHL…plus under Canadian law he was a minor and she was not…..Bettman has to go ASAP…. Logan has the pre-season to prove where he will play AHL or NHL..I say he starts in Laval

  8. I feel he needs at least a half season in Laval just to bring him along slower than just throwing him into the best league in the world before he’s ready. The Habs have lots of options on defence so let me get his feet wet in pro hockey a little slower.

  9. I have to say.. I was skeptical of ever getting to see him play in a habs jersey because of his lapse in judgement and the microscope of the montreal press but, from what I can gather, he has revealed himself to be one of the better success stories in taking accountability and being serious about it. He definitely deserves his chance at this point.

  10. I listen to your podcast on a regular basis. Lately, with all the degragation of our society we need to take a step back and see if there is a commen thread that can be identified which will allow us to realize a state of consciousness we can all strive for. The four pillars underpinning our society is, no illicit sex, no intoxication, no meat eating and no gambling. So before we talk about Logan Mailoux again lets please take stock of our own issues before we judge anyone. Just look at our society, the pillars are crumbling. Let go of the ego and leave the kid alone!

  11. He can take this gloves off, but the pants definitely need to stay on.

  12. prepare for trouble, mailloux is going to rumble!
yeah send him to laval and dammit. let them win a damn calder. or at least seriouslky compete for one.

  13. I beleive he will have heads tyurning during the Habs camp and the high brass of the Habs including coach Martin St louis ??? but it will be good if he plays months in Laval. I agree also this could be the scenario.

  14. My guess … the league and the team have handled the Mailloux affair as quietly as possible, insulated him from the howling social justice media types. I suspect Mailloux will start in Laval away from the limelight and get called up when the Habs go on a long western road trip. He will have played a number of games, will be part of the team before he appears on home ice.

  15. I would play Mailloux directly in the NHL. Even if he would be in a losing team,(gotta lose to learn how to win) i think it would benefit him and the habs to play and grow a chemistry with someone already there(MTL).Adjust to the NHL speed and the ''systeme de jeu''NHL Tactics?Altough being in AHL wouldnt hurt him i think it wouldnt hurt Barron or Harris either .And even if theyre young i dont see them ..making a difference like Mailloux could in a couple of years. Not talking about hondacivic wich i wouldve trade . Love yourew video

  16. Innocent or guilty, repentant or brazen, playing in Laval or Montréal, Logan will be haunted by this set of circumstances. Funny how crap sticks to individuals, but tainted publicly-funded institutions can shake their boots and walk clean away. Logan will need good influences around him, and I hope the Habs’ organization can provide for his well-being.

  17. I say start him in Laval. Although he's played great lately I think the next step should be the AHL just to let him get up to speed at the next level. But who knows…he might give the Habs no choice. A win either way. GHG
