We didn't need another defense but we could deal with it that's the way I look at it.
send wideman to the ducks for a conditional 7th. they can use him for the same reason we did last year. let's say the condition is 40 GP or something.
harris is the odd man out for the future, but he will not be the guy sent down this year. but our future left side…hutson, guhle, xhekaj, engstrom, struble, and matheson if we keep him too. the guy sent down…i'm thinking it's barron, and it shouldn't be, because he doesn't need any more time there, but kovy and gus need waivers to go down. harris is a good player, and i like him, but he'll be squeezed out. at some point we'll have to trade him hopefully in a bigger package for a high-level player. we have lots of quantity; we need to turn it into quality.
