Maybe revo or a foligno bro they are underrated at throwing hands. Add Perry to mix.

I think Reaves is the only one close, and even at Reaves’ prime he couldn’t have tangled with Boogaard.

NHL is getting so soft. Guys Orr, Thornton, Shelley, Gilles are missed. Fighting is good for the game and good for the elite players. It helps.

That you used a Rags picture is a travesty

Peter Worrell was pretty damn scary in his prime. He aged out of NHL career fast after the lockout sped up the game in 2006, but made sure Bure didn’t get a cheap shot for years. Still think Boogeyman would win but Worrell didn’t lose more than a handful during his time in Florida

Lol no way anybody in todays NHL sheds the mitts with the boogey man Reevo wouldn’t have a chance maybe if both folignos fought him at the same time

Not much of a fighter, but I think one of the few players who could match Boogey physically is Big Buff

I never knew this, but his dad was a Mountie and they moved around a lot. Even though he was a big kid, he was soft-spoken and kind of awkward so he would get bullied. Eventually he would end up kicking the crap out of the kid that was taunting him.

Boogaard wasn’t that great at fighting. He was good, but not great. He was just bigger than everyone and only focused on fighting. I think Lucic whoops his ass. Maybe even Tom Wilson. They are about the only guys that have the size necessary to do the job. Reevo is great, but that reach advance would be overwhelming against Boogaard.

Big Looch. Maybe Gudbranson, he had a few great scraps when he was with the Flames.

Kermit MacDermid could make it interesting

  12. cam_huskers

Reeves, MacDermid, and Lucic are the only three that wouldn’t need a stretcher coming off the ice.

  13. Hakuchansankun

Lucic imho would be one of the few…

    Boogaard Last of the Enforcers

Just watched Goon 2 on tv recently lol

Probert, chara could held his own, reaves and Ray Emery.

  16. Opposite_Leopard_888

Evander Kane, Lucic, Reaves for sure

  17. Lucic is probably the best fighter in terms of actual skill so that’s my bet.

He was a warrior, but Chara had a level of height and strength that was impossible to deal with. I guess he’s no longer technically active though.
