I was curious about Perry's involvement in Skip, and it seems it's called "Let's Eat" in the States, and there is more than one rendition of that song. Good for those Winnipeg boys to grow Skip The Dishes! Hope they treat their drivers well.
According to StatMuse, the Leafs are 25-20-2 on Sundays between 2/28/13 and 2/28/23. The funny part to me is that y'all have won 4 of the 6 Sunday games this season.
Sunday games are a point of annoyance for Red Wings fans too, so I looked them up too: 38-48-18 during the same period lol
San Jose fans should feel fleeced, they didn’t accept the best offer. Marek reported not only that miers preferred destination was Vegas, but also that Vegas offered substantially more than NJD for him. In an attempt to avoid trading a star player to another team in their division (which the sharks won’t be competitive in for atleast another 3-5 years anyway), they turned down huge pieces of what could have lead to a quicker rebuild in San Jose. Bravo to NJD for landing Mier but boy would I be pissed if I was a a San Jose fan.
If a GM's job security is based on a singular trade then Dubas should've been fired after the Kadri trade and the Foligno trade but that's not how it works.
Once again, Kyle Davidson is in overhis head as a GM and is completely incapable of making a trade where he doesnt get taken to the cleaners. This is going to be a decade long rebuild if he keeps settling for 0.70$ every dollar

For perspective, it took an entire Hitmen game and some more time to get the full details for the Meier trade
You guys breaking trades live is fantastic. I’d watch an all day Friday livestream of this.
Am I the only one seeing the Meier trade and thinking that Dubas could have made a competitive offer there? Something like 2024 and 2025 firsts plus Topi Niemela and Kerfoot would be comparable and it doesn't come with the condition that they get to the conference final. The Sharks retain half giving you more cap space than when you started and now you run Matthews/Tavares/ROR down the middle each with one of Marner/Nylander/Meier. One of those lines is going to have a serious mismatch and if you wanted to load up the top 6 you'd be hard-pressed to find a top 6 better than that on any other team.

Poor Jesse. In Franchise mode in 2023 so far I have got my Ducks rebuild to win 2 cups in 6 years while appearing in the finals 4 times + I got the Leafs in year two to win cup. I know it's an Arizona build from what I member watching but… lets go Jesse win that cup.

Jesse is absolutely right, "boneless wings" are just chicken bites or nuggets. They aren't even dark meat or wing meat lol, and yet places get away with charging the same price as they do for regular wings.
In the UK we have Skip but it's called Just Eat. Same advert with Katy Perry but it sounds better with the extra syllable of Just Eat vs Skip.
Sharks fan here. I was a little upset at the return because I expected one of Holtz, Mercer, or Nemec. There had been a lot of rumors about each of them so it's my fault for taking too much stock into Twitter rumors. Getting none of those guys was disappointing even if it made sense the Devils wouldn't part with them. I'm not upset about Grier's messaging. I want a rebuild but I think ownership and executives don't want to call it a rebuild so that's why Grier isn't calling this a rebuild even though we all know it is.
11:46 Yes, Jesse, all of the top-6 teams are in the East. Which means that the team coming out of the West will have to play, at most, two top-10 teams to get to the Cup Finals, and the team coming from the East will have to play three. You guys will beat each other up, and then a Western team will swoop in with fewer injuries & win the Cup.

I enjoy Steve's raves and rants and petpeeves, roaming goalies drives me crazy, it did as a player and as a fan, half the game they stand there watching the action, the puck whips around the boards and like a mouse to cheese he just can't help himself to go play the puck, what happens is your D now has confusion because he doesn't know where your going with the biscuit, so a little confusion and dang it, it's in the back of the net.
