In the 10th episode of the countdown to the NHL’s best prospect pool, Sebastian and Hadi break down the pipelines of the San Jose Sharks, Anaheim Ducks, and Buffalo Sabres. First, they take a look at the Sharks, who recently infused their prospect pool with skill at the 2023 Draft by adding toolsy centermen Will Smith and Quentin Musty, who further elevate a strong prospect pool already featuring the likes of Daniil Gushchin, Mattias Hävelid, and Henry Thrun. Next, they shift their focus to their California rivals, the Anaheim Ducks, who have a three-headed dragon in their pipeline consisting of power-forward center Leo Carlsson, toolsy two-way defenseman Pavel Mintyukov, and dynamic blueliner Olen Zellweger. Last, they break down the impressive Sabres prospect depth, which doesn’t even include the team’s two recent 1st overall picks, and is headlined by recent 13th overall selection Zach Benson, goaltender Devon Levi, and forwards Jiri Kulich, Matthew Savoie, Noah Östlund, Isak Rosen, and Anton Wahlberg.
Tune back in on Friday to see which teams have the league’s top two prospect pools!

Definitely expected Buffalo at 2
I really don't see San Jose this high.
Wasn’t expecting San Jose to be top 5 since your criteria excludes Bordeleau and Eklund but I’ll take it.
I knew Sebastian would mention Gushchin 🙂
I have my top 6 as Chicago – Detroit – Anaheim – Buffalo – Minnesota – San Jose
