Vasili Podkilzin is set to play another year in Russia before coming to North America. When the Vancouver Canucks drafted Podkolzin 10th overall in 2019 he had already signed a two year contract with SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL, which was also part of the reason he fell to 10th overall, the “Russian factor”. Many people believed at the time, and still do, that Podkolzin should have been a top 3-5 pick in last year’s NHL draft. – THF

Awesome!
Can you do Quinn Hughes rookie highlights?
Every once in awhile a prospect comes along with a skillset and drive that just oozes the it factor even if the numbers don't blow you away. With his style of being a true complete winger who also oozes leadership and killer instinct. He has a chance to be the next Messier in all aspects of the game. He is a player you truly have to watch to appreciate, the puck hounding, the sheer amount of chances he generates is insane. He hit another level after the WJC and next season he has a chance to become even better.
I’m excited to see this Russian kid play in Vancouver. The Canucks lacks these type of skill set. Need a bulldozer type of player.
i love how he high fives his goalie! showing some love
Love how the management brought Quinn with them👍
Nice video. I do worry about how his offensive game will translate to the NHL with the much better defence and goaltending. Most of the goals shown in this video probably wouldn't happen at the NHL because defenders and goalies are much better. I guess only time will tell.
Canucks. Fans out there tell me I'm wrong canucks need to draft more rightys up front so many left hand shots
Anyone notice on the "disallowed" goal, he took Broberg to school? Glad he fell to Vancouver!
Stud grew another 3 inches after the draft. Going from 6'1" to 6'4"! Dudes going to be scary!
The Canucks under Jim Benning draft Brock Boeser 23rd, Elias Pettersson 5th, Quinn Hughes 7th, and now Vasili Podkilzin 10th. That's a really good track record!
He will be an Nhl third line player comparable to nichushkin
