High on a goalie that played for a great team lol yeah typical.He;s going to be the next Cater hart.IMO 99% of hockey fans have no clue about goalies but whatever IDC people are allowed their opinion.Besides great teams making a goalie appear great TIMING is as important if that goalie can arrive as a team transitions from being mediocre to becoming a great team.
MTL is expected to get better their defense prospect pool is very good but MTL has VERY little up front and without really good forwards they will not become a team good enough to make a goalie look good.Hint goalies ALL of them see player coming they go down on their knees BEFORE the shot it taken and just HOPE the puck hits them.If GUESS work is what makes a great goalie then lol whatever.

The problem with over rating a SMALL player is not realizing they are most likely giving up SOME of the aspects that makea player great.
Cole Caufield is a one dimensional player he will never rack up loads of assists he does not win board battles and showing a MINUS in his stats says he is also not that good defensively.
This is why Hutson went second round nobody doubts his skills or offensive skill and game reads but most realize he likely is a fail on the boards and protecting the front of the net.
I don't know anything about Fowler except what I saw at the draft. And what I saw was a kid who looked overweight and out of shape.
I saw an old prospect tier list from a few years back…. and the top people they rated and teams didn't even make it into the nhl… This is off-season fodder news, by analysts who never even played the game. If you watch and played hockey you know Hudson and mailloux will be nhl players. I ALWAYS value hockey sense, character, and drive to be better… and Hudson clearly always always wants to be better and better.
Chicago has an awful Prospect list. No one other than Bedard… pretty sure they were listed near the bottom with Pittsburgh and Boston
Your point about future cap space is important. Its not just the talent but what you get out of that talent relative to their cap hit. Hugo is setting us up for long-term success with team friendly deals.

Juuse Saros is 5’11 and legit star goalie. 6’1 is not a problem if you just have “it”
