I'm going to LOVE watching Baker turn all of those "haters" into crickets!!! (Although I thoroughly expect Mayfield to get ZERO credit when the Bucs start winning. Canales will get it ALL.)
Ds will be running "prevent the bootleg" schemes, which should bolster the inside running game.

Baker Brings league leading int’s, a losing record, a fake chip on his shoulder making him think he’s better than he is, and a stature that will have him lead the league in passes batted down at the line like he did when he was playing last year. At this point, we deserve to lose Trask and see him flourish else where like Steve Young and Doug Williams. Bad Awful political Qb competition.

And I want to add comments you saw in preseason Baker likes to roll out this way his passes don't get batted down. And it also meant makes up for deficiencies in the offensive line and it gives people a chance to get open down the field. And when he was in Cleveland the year after the playoffs stefanski wanted him to be a pocket passer. That's a lot of the reason he got beat up so bad. And was injured so much in that season

I dont understand why homers dont see the big picture when it comes to rosters. Gardner Minshew and Davis Mills were starting and had success and their respective teams decided to move on. I dont think the Bucs view Kyle Trask as highly as those guys so its only reasonable that Baker starts.
