  1. Like the optimism Rick. If the Habs score 323 goals then the fan base will be ecstatic to say the least. I think they will show improvement. Project a goal total in the 250 range.Hoping they can reduce their goals against to the 275 range. That would be an over 50 net goal improvement. Will get them into the 75 point range overall. Still last in the division but improvement over last year.

  2. I’d probably put the over/under on Suzuki and Caufield more at 75/65, and perhaps Slaf is a bit optimistic, but I’ll sure be pulling for your prediction over mine. Overall though I think this is a solid breakdown of what to expect. But if this all hits, they’re probably pushing for a playoff spot. I guess that’s my main reason for being skeptical here. Anyhoo, nice work.

  3. I won't be surprised to see a good start maybe even hover around .500 but it might also fail if the coach can't find the proper line pairings.Typically most teams struggle early with lines and some vets getting their legs example Monahan had no legs out of the gate but soon got much better.Once the dust settles the better teams rise to the top and the weaker teams begin to fade.
We should see a better finish as a few players will be looking for season goals to reach and keep pushing because last year it seemed we just gave up completely.I continue to feel St.Louis is not a good coach for teaching the team how to play in various zones his positive is patience and encouragement but don't be surprised if his demeanor changes if the team is struggling.Last year he knew he had zero pressure but now expectations are higher so he is going to feel some pressure.

  4. Caufield is not getting 50 goals come on now. I say 35-40 max. As a team, I’ll say 250 goals max and a bottom 5 team

  5. I enjoyed this, but your goals really started to add up. 323 goals?! Edmonton was first last season with 325. Boston was second with 301. You also mentioned 280, which would tie us at 8th with Tampa. No chance!
