In 2024/25 Matthews will be getting paid 16.7 million dollars. MacKinnon will be getting paid 16.5.

Ugh don’t like that full no move clause.
Love it.
Money is a big motivating factor but when you get a lump sum, it’s hard to work hard for the rest of the year. Not saying Auston is like that at all but the concept can make anyone lazy.
Why not sign a whole bunch of superstars for 700K-900K like MCDavid, MacKinnon, Kuchero etc
every single penny he could get
