OK Guys, Owen Beck has been suspended by the Ontario Hockey League due to a slew foot that he threw on a London Knights player.. How greasy was this slew foot on a scale of 1-10? Lets find out in today’s video!

The biggest takeaway from this is that the OHL guys should replace the NHL's department of player safety.

That was a good slew foot. I'd agree, about a 6 on the greasy meter. He'd better not do that when he's called up or he's likely to get a spankin.

In a race for the puck where both players have equal advantage, I love a good greasy slew foot. It's a fine line. If you run at a bugger from behind and do it, you're welcome to a cross-check in the teeth. Slot him in against a Tkachuk and let him loose.

It was a slew foot but he did look like he was trying to kick the puck but just went through the player slewfoot style
Sometimes you get noticed for good things and sometimes not so much 😮 but sometimes nice guys finish last and when you can put up points and penalty minutes (Tkachuk ) you are a player Beck looks like a player

I mean, people have always said we need more physicality. I’m down for a guy like Beck who’s not afraid to lay the body. I feel like that is a bit of a harsh punishment but I know the ohl takes things more seriously.
2 games is nonsense. The infraction doesn't deserve the punishment; I've seen much worse. If you must, give him 1gm but 2 CAN decide the outcome of the series.

You know what , I don't mind seeing a bit of "edge" in a future 3c for Montreal, teams that are winning in the playoffs have that bit of chippyness to them .

Now now Owen… You got to hold back a little bit man.. I like physical players but you have to learn to play within the rules. Now that he's out, how can he help his team? Was it worth it? Let's hope his team doesn't get eliminated. Hopefully this will be a lesson for him..

As much as he did follow through with a slew foot I don't think that was his intention. He was behind the player and reached in front of him which would of been holding, but to do that he was off balance and and in a wide stance, his recovery follow through took the players leg out, slew foot resulted, intentional I don't think so, don't think his hit to the head was either, u can't stop momentum on hit once u commit, the kid lost the puck and was looking down for it, intentional no!

It’s a penalty. But not suspension worthy !
He sure hope to play in NHL soon. Those play are only 2 minute penalty at the upper level.
