  1. "This is a good clean play he has to go through the catcher." lmao funny how everyone nowadays suddenly knows how to slide around the catcher.

  2. I always thought blocking the plate was a stupid play.
It usually ends up the catcher gets f-up and the runners safe. I think the risk reward isn't worth it.

  3. The BLACKOUT LOVES AJ but I can't lie if he wasn't a Southsider I know I would've hated him Lol he was one of those players U love him on ya team But off it NO LOL

  4. This comment section reads like a bot haven. Like those obviously fake reviews of products that haven't even released yet. Are all sox fans like this?

  5. This is why the Cubs can get bent. Crowd home plate and cry when a freight train hits you…B..O..O….H..O..O!! 😢

  6. Dusty was probably like: “you’re not gonna eject pierzynski too? Gettin beat in a fight is still gettin in a fight 😂

  7. Universal DH year 20 (2042) MLB retains 0 pitchers still able to hit. Like spoiled fruit in the store way past their prime nothing can be done 🥲. New MLB (not unlike York we suppose) while seemingly cruel and unusual at the time will be necessary to save our nation's pastime we feel 👊🤣👊. Just pound it there (both of em' man). NO they're not standing over you laughing as they beat you half to death. On a bit of a side note here as well we've also looked for catcher/batter brawls on YouTube (pitchers are mainly just the messenger you know). Good luck to all and play ball 👍.

Thanks Ron baseball misses you 2✌️🥲👍.

  8. There was no reason, on that play, to punch Pierzysnski. It’s just what every person who’s ever been around him for more than five minutes has wanted to do. Barrett just decided then was as good a time as any.

  9. "There is some hookin' going on at the bottom of that pile at home plate" … 😅 That did not sound good, at all.

  10. Barret never had a play on that ball. But I'd argue that baseball was designed with just the right amount of players to back up and or collect loose change. In the great game of baseball you WERE just one of two things safe or out. If I were Barrett I'd have met Mr. Pierzynski up the line a little more.

  11. MLB increased the base size to 18 inches square from the previous size of 15 inches square this offseason, giving bases more coverage on the dirt. This change is being made as more of an installation of safety than to affect gameplay. Mar 30, 2023

SAFETY?🤣 I was fairly fast and caught out of position at 5'5" my whole life. The bases are closer together and bigger. There's just nothing safe about that. But I wish I could lie that well. That's a safe bet.

  12. Murton makes the best throw of his career (110 mph rocket from left) hitting Barrett in the chest 2 steps before Pierzynski reaches home. Barrett holds on to the ball and the out is recorded. Who's wrong then? Posey? Yo momma? MLB? Or YOU?🫵

  13. The follow up: Pierzynski was one of the finalists that year to get the last spot on the AL All-Star team. The White Sox started a "Punch A.J." promotional campaign to get him elected – and it worked!

  14. I'd pay cash money just to see A.J. Pierzinski get punched in the face during a baseball game.

  15. It really looks like Pierzinski was just trying to go around the catcher…🤷🏼‍♂️
