I think I saw somewhere, he was a big bully on the ice, taking out smaller guys just to wrecked em. So Scott Stevens hit was karma Probably a great guy off the ice idk 🤣
The fact professionals can skate with their heads down is why I don't watch hockey and only highlights. Lindros knew what he was doing making risky moves. Some players today should be in the NHL who can prescan some shouldn't it's a joke. Concussions happen Number one rule keep your head up. That's minor hockey shit
@Kendrick Maeldun couldn't agree more! I've been saying this for years. He developed bad habits as a kid because he could get away with it due to his size. Those bad habits caught up with him in the big league. Scott Stevens comes to mind.
What about Sidney Crosby! Sid still gets absolute cheap shots on him and the refs look the other way! Todays NHL isn't saving players its ruining them!!!! Take out the enforcer and fighting and you get the career ending cheap shots! Don Cherry was right!!!! The speed hasn't changed either! You think any player can skate faster than a player in the 80's or 90"s!? WHY? Skates haven't changed THAT much and neither have the athletes! Today we measure it at all the all-star events….thats the only difference
At his peak he was the most physically dominant superstar the league has ever seen. Seemed to score at will, while be able to shitkick heavyweight fighers like Chris Simon.
Also with the ability to play with ur head down yes pre scan is a thing but a player can still see everything they need to with there head down you just have to predict the opponents moves without seeing their head
I'd say the one of the best players and the best player to never reach full potential is Sidney Crosby because of his concussions sure we saw him dominate but he never fully reached his true potential due to all the concussions
A lot of players today would get smoked back in the day with their head down. The speed of the game is faster and more skilled precise but I like big hits clean hits and it's nice to see as it's part of the game.
Man he is the reason I love power forward in the NHL. His mix of skill, height, size, speed, and elite goal scoring are just a few reaosn why I love Lindros.

"lady Byng…..I fucked her" – Scott Stevens

Guys could hook clutch and grab you as well to set you up for a hit.
The numbers don’t reveal how tough the NHL was back even 10 years ago.
I’d say he panned out. He’s a hall of famer, so I don’t understand what you mean by this….?
Seriously? The best player??
Lindros also hurt a lot of guys, and a lot of the Legion of Doom crushing people caught up to him.
“Why? One word, Scott Stevens”
He should start a brand called Head down hockey. It'll blow minds
didn't the brin d'amor chair shot seal his fate with concussions
Lindros lived up to the potential. Just couldn’t keep his head up.
Two more words, Bob Clarke

Two Words* “Scott Stevens”
Props for using music from N64's GoldenEye ❤️
Had he remained with the nordiques/Avs I’ll bet his career would have been extended… playing in philly did not help his concussion situation!
Definitely a different set of rules these days, the boys used to go straight for the knockout.
Dinner at the Lindros home must be nice "I like soup"
Lindros was a DB and deserved every concussion he got.
I don’t feel sorry for him.
The biggest threat physically and offensively for a solid 7 yrs. There was none better.
Steven's was a dirty player big time
At his peak he was the most physically dominant superstar the league has ever seen. Seemed to score at will, while be able to shitkick heavyweight fighers like Chris Simon.
Karma don't ever complain where you get drafted
And how about Lemieux if he never got hurt and played a 22 years career like Gretzky?
He deserved it… he sat out after being drafted because he didn't like the team…
"as the game has got faster"
naw as they have made it a lil bitch game.
Don cherry said it on TV you. Ant cut into middle with your head down
Stevens would also be banned for life if he threw some of those hits today.
Still my fav. Him and Le Clair!
My favorite all-time player and the reason I am to this day, still a Flyers fan.
Hockey was better when it was a man's game and not a "whoa, man"s game.

God I fucking hated Lindros. I was a red wings fan growing up…
IMO Crosby would be the GOAT if he didn’t have so many concussions
this is true even for Peter Forsberg.
the Avalanche can thank his being such a POS for their cup. I have never thought less of a player ever
Stevens is a criminal
He came into the league with eight or nine concussions
My Head will be down and I’ll make a play with 20 FOV lol

The glass man. Eric Lindros!
I’ve never really thought of a pre scan but I do it when I play
Lindros taught us another lesson. Never fool around with a teammate's wife.
Over complicating everything in this vid. "Keep your head up" #1.
Another word….crybaby….wa…wa…wa..no respect for his coerced moves…
Man he is the reason I love power forward in the NHL. His mix of skill, height, size, speed, and elite goal scoring are just a few reaosn why I love Lindros.
