Apparently the Seattle Kraken might be getting the work done to appeal for Shane Wright to get the AHL pass next year. Interesting.

  1. Dude, i love your videos but do you always have to start your videos with an excuse as to why your doing a video?😂😂
BTW, your SENS videos are the best on the tube. Nice

  2. AHL would be perfect for him. Pretty sure his first year would get burned but it's worth it.

  3. Since you mentioned the CHL, i had to remind myself that Hamilton Bulldogs is now the Brantford OHL team, surprising that Jr A's Brantford team didn't move to Hamilton?
If Seattle doesn't want Wright, why don't they just trade him? put him on trade table for something they do NEED?

  4. He can’t play in the CHL. Seattle is a div. rival for me, and I love seeing Wright be humbled but if he plays in the O next year his nhl career is done.

  5. Haters gonna hate. Wright is gonna be fine. League on notice: Beniers and Wright as a 1 – 2 punch in a year or 2.

  6. I think the AHL rule about having to be 20 yrs old to play in the AHL is dumb.
Maybe if they're too good for Juniors, send them over seas after drafting the player, then either send them to the AHL once they're 20, or bring them to the NHL.

  7. I would be willing to bet you have not watched him play as much jr as say a Kingston season ticket holder during his time with the team. He is incredibly talented but his post season talent disappeared or was never really there.

  8. As a Flyers fan I would definitely NOT trade Cutter Gauthier (5th pick) for Shane Wright (4th pick)… I am sure the Arizona Coyotes feel the same with Logan Cooley (3rd pick) but I am curious as of TODAY would the Devils/Canadians fans entertain a trade of Nemec/Slaf for Wright???

  9. These kids are so good now they should prob change the age min to 19 for ahl. I think that would be the right development path for so many young players now. 1 game away it would be ridiculous to not let him play. There's clearly nothing left for him in chl he needs to be challenged in ahl.

  10. remember the OHL team traded their future to get him for a shot at memorial cup but with him the team became the first 1st seed to lose to a 16th seed in the history of the OHL…. AHL can not change their rules for one guy who has proven nothing. rules are rules and he missed by 1 game so there you go..NHL or CHL period….so if they change the rules what is next……in the world juniors he was totally outshined by Bedard, showed he is not an exceptional player as he did not dominate world's juniors like he was suppose to and did nothing in OHL playoffs

  11. I think Wright deserves a shot in the AHL. He has proven, despite the number of games played; that he is ready for at the least the AHL. I feel he has that potential to explode out the box for the AHL, and given time, the right plays, maneuvering and point getting, he may just be worth the call up to the Kraken sooner than later. I am curious to see Wright play in both the AHL and NHL.

  12. 19, that's young, I think Francis is doing this properly for the player, develop him and bring him in so he can last long term, develop more muscle, mature and he well have a longer career

  13. AHL does burn his ELC. Jr’s does not and it’s considered on-loan to the OHL. Much like teams do to Europe too.. Still, if they’d have just stuck with him, I think he would have gotten AHL eligible with just a few more NHL games.. but that could be different now than it used to be..

  14. Seems like the CHL needs to make some changes. With these rules young players will have no desire to play in that league considering the difficulties they will encounter trying to get drafted and work their way up thru better leagues.

  15. He is one game short of qualified for AHL lol if he played one more game in the OHL last year he could play AHL this year lol he will play in AHL

  16. These rules amongst leagues is stupid. If we all want the best quality athletes, let the team put him wherever his growth is most optimal.
