ATO (i believe) still burns his NCAA eligibility, as 1 of the stipulations/conditions isn't just pay but also playing on a professional team. no big deal if he's assured to actually get an ELC, but if the Sharks decided to pull a "nah i'm good" he could be left in the lurch.
