If you think Levi is too young to become their #1 goalie, let me say one name to you…Tom Barrasso! He was drafted by Buffalo in 1983 straight out of U.S. High School hockey and went on to win the Calder Trophy and the Vezina Trophy in his rookie year, and then won the Jennings Trophy in his second season, all while younger than what Levi is right now! Levi had two full seasons of college hockey, and then was put in goal while they were in the hunt for a playoff spot, and performed terrifically for the Sabres! Plus the Sabres improved their defense immensely by acquiring Clinton and Johnson, so there will be (hopefully) fewer scoring chances he'll have to face. With Don Granato behind the bench getting them to play as a team and not just a collection of individuals (hello, Toronto!), if Buffalo can remain free of the injury bug, making it the playoffs shouldn't be in doubt!
