⚡🏈My Great ’80s Rookie Cards of Great ’80s Quarterbacks!🏈⚡

Most adult sports card collectors love reaching back and going through their great ’80s rookie cards from their childhood. Whether it’s baseball, football, basketball, hockey or some other sport, there was just something magical about that 1980s decade!

So I decided to build a special collection of great ’80s rookie cards of some great ’80s quarterbacks! All the best ones are here, but I still have a handful to collect.

Now, we’re not talking about the Tommy Kramers and the Vince Evans of the world — we’re talking ’80s rookie cards of stud quarterbacks like:

-Joe Montana, John Elway, Dan Marino, Steve Young, Phil Simms, Bernie Kosar, Randall Cunningham, Warren Moon, Boomer Esiason, and more!

If you like old school rips, you should check out the two 1984 Topps football packs that I opened last year! I nailed a rookie Hall of Famer that I love! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROSY0Dh3Wrw

  1. great stuff Dave, love the 80's too! glad you added Jim Plunkett he was my childhood hero.

  2. All of those were in my collecting years. I’m surprised some of those are not worth more, especially Doug Williams Warren Moon and Randall Cunningham. Bernie was the last QB to be successful with the Browns, and that was a long time ago.

  3. Great video, right in my wheelhouse! I enjoyed you showing off a bit of the collection. Awesome trivia too. David, do you have a copy of a (admittedly non-USFL) Flutie rookie from ‘87? If not, let me know, and I’ll send you a nice raw copy (I opened tons of ‘87). Thanks for sharing! Almost to football season, yeehaw!

  4. David once again you bring the knowledge. Always look forward to your tidbits with some of the cards. I was disappointed you left out one of my favorites from the '85 Bears "The Funky QB" Jim McMahon. I'm currently perusing eBay for his RC 😊
