Do you really count this as year 3 of the rebuild? I'd call it year 2. The first year you're thinking of is really year 0 lol we didn't really "rebuild" anything. That was a straight up tear-down/downgrade. That was the year that determined we needed to be rebuilding.
If the Habs miss the playoffs again it will be the 3rd time in their history that they've missed the playoffs 3 years in a row.

Checked out their list. Looking at it at randomly, a guy that looks interesting based on stats and highlights is Maxim Massé. 6'1", 181lb right winger out of the Q. Anyone have any first-hand assessment of him? They have him ranked at #11 which could be around our pick. Highlights seem to show an opportunistic sniper, nose for the net and good offensive instincts. Killer release. But hard to give proper assessment based on only clips. Doesn't hurt that he's Franco.
consensus is, cole is better than lane is basically every way. so it's a no-brainer imo

We need more 5' 11" hockey players like a mule needs Nike shoes. Whomever makes these draft prospect lists need to seek out (by size) what type of players dominate legitimate opponents.
Don't get me wrong, but a whole team of MSL' aren't going to win a cup.

Habs will finish with the 1st overall pick in 2024 but will overthink it and draft Cole Eiserman or Demidov leaving Celebrini on the board for the Blackhawks.

I saw Celebrini play the USNTDP U18 team and he looked like man playing against kids and he was 16.
