I would have guessed Anaheim for top ranked D. I think it'll be interesting they finally get top round/ranked players, the last was B Tkachuk.
He sounds like how Ethan Bear is right now except Drysdale is four years younger
Nah Ottawa will probably draft a defenceman with NYI's pick.
Jamie is very good defensively, really smart and creative. Like you said, very good skater but he’ll be able to contribute points. He’s being compared to Duncan Keith where he won’t throw the body, but he’ll still be solid on D. I feel his offense will come with time.
Please montreal, I pray. Find a way
I know nothing about any of the draft prospects, but Ottawa might be favouring more forwards just because they will want more insurance. Chabot is a known commodity, and that's 1/6 of the spots they need to fill. Ottawa's defensive prospects are great players, but their top end guys aren't hitters meaning they need more physical defensemen. We don't know if Drysdale can be that skilled, physical defensemen, so it is risky for Ottawa to take him unless he is the player they think is the best available. In the forward position they don't have a clear set of top-six forwards other than Brady (Whitey needs to bounce back), so I think they will want that cushion there in case Formenton/L Brown/Batherson/Norris/Abramov can't make that top-six jump. It might be more likely they choose a bigger defensemen later in the draft instead…
I think Drysdale will be the 2nd best player in this draft
TSN said “He’s like Duncan Keith, but right handed”. So he’s clearly a two way.
Ottawa just needs to take the best players available with their first 2 picks, regardless of position. That likely means 2 forwards. They can draft a dman with the pick they have from the Isles.
Drysdale is fantastic. His team on the other hand is not. Signed Erie Otters season ticket holder.
LA Kings make the most sense for Drysdale outside of Ottawa. They are super thin on D (especially on the right side) and will be eager to pick him after missing out on Byram last year. Also they can be patient with him and let him dominate the OHL next year.
I would be shocked if he goes beyond 4th.
He reminds me of Ryan Ellis: a small but smart two way defenseman
He’s going 3rd overall ahead of quinton Byfield
Isn’t Drysdale listed as an OFD?
Seems like an LA pick to me if available for them. Need some defence depth. I like Clague and Bjornföt tho
Haven't watched highlights but sounds similar to Cale Makar.
No way sens take Drysdale, if anything we would take Sanderson with the isles pick if he falls to us. We need a number 1 center and a number 1 winger
Senators will take the best 2 forwards available with the first two 1st round picks and a defenceman with the 3rd pick that they got from the Islanders, hopefully Braden Schneider will still be available.
Some hope for red wings
Why isn't this in the 2020 draft playlist? I couldn't find it anywhere
Ottawa takes two forwards then a d.
Can’t believe the Ducks got him.
In my franchise mode Drysdale never passed 83 overall 🙁
