Good assessment. Start with D.
Our goalies ever bargain. Ullmark is just hitting the prime of his career. We don't want 2 USA trained goalies,
The last USA train goalie to get a couples in 1994 New York rangers. Thomas played in Europe, Quick 2 Olympics
Jeremy's under 6 ft 4 in.n USA college goalie. That's going to be a challenge
I like your perspective on developing players .. let em fly before they soar.
I'll add one more factor that can change many players' games- Sweeney's going big. Please don't underestimate the influence Milan Lucic will have, still has hockey vision, and can bend the psychology of a game simply by sitting on the bench.
Boy that was tough circumstances how he left, his father's tragic death, first born & traded, all within a couple of months.
he's back on home ice, with the best trainers nutritionists and rehabs.
All the players talk about feeding off the fans. Here ya go! Feed Looooch! to the fans! 🐻
He'll have another gear.
Yes, it's simple, there's not a stat for it- he scares the piss out of some players! Keep our scores on the ice. Looch can hang out having his Dunkin donuts in The penalty box when needed.
I wish they would have let McAvoy flattened Matthew Tkachuck, take the penalty and get it over with. But they let it go on.
Tkachuk did an outstanding job against this gentleman well skilled elite team. He knew it was playoffs!
C'mon boyz, it's still hockey!
I agree with many older Sports journalists who believe that Zdeno Chara watching #37's back for 17 out of his 19 years of his career, had great influence on Bergeron's ability to maximize his skills. Patrice acknowledged it himself
He's been taking a lot of cheap shots the last two seasons
Going big, may free up some of our players so they can focus on scoring. Especially protect prospects, newbies – give them good +/- ratings to be ready for the winter trade deadline.
We've been watching our scorers play enforcer, sit in the sin-bin since Nick Ritchie left. hurricanes series, cringing at Pastrnak tossed around, passing the puck on his knees while bashed into the boards
– our lil ratt playing enforcer
I was in the minority on Jake debrusk. It caused me to leave the internet for a few months, just speaking up for him. Pointing out facts got nasty!😮
Proud he called out the hypocrisy, Cassidy wasn't following his own system.
Respect for Bruce yet I wanted Cassidy gone June 2019,"do your job follow the system" to selke, messier, Stanley Cup winners?
Nope.
Jake did good. 👍
Was proud of my black & gold when Sweeney & Jacobs stood behind him, and when they trusted the players, went all-in. No regrets.
Jake stated at the beginning of his career that he wants to be a career Bruin.
Don should get a decent loyalty contract from him.
It'll be better for Jake's reporter career, a career original six team, who played with Patrice Bergeron.
😃
going anyplace else would either be a betrayal or pale in comparison.
You're right, Freddy's young.
Forbert does need to start earning his keep-let's see what he's got.
I like your assessment, slightly disagree on the influence Milan Lucic will have. Our Bruins' son is back home. On his ice.
It's going to be magic ✨
George Parros is going to be salivating! He's got himself another Malibu Beach House coming!
👍🏆🐻
Do I think we will be a decent team? Maybe. If we play our cards right and make smart roster decisions we can still be competitive even without Bergeron, Krejci, Foligno, Hall, and who could forget absolute Bruins legends and icons Tyler Bertuzzi and Dmitry Orlov! Those last two especially had such long and great tenures here! Jokes aside I think our biggest weakness is our center position and depth. If we make the right call-ups and trades particularly for center, we will be decent. Will we be an absolute record-shattering behemoth like we were last year? No. Are we completely screwed? No. There is optimism just so long as Don Sweeney plays his cards right. Big ask but we in Boston need level-headed management if we want to drastically reduce the damage of the rebuild
Why would you trade to make cap space this year it makes no sense
