It seems dumb to underestimate the Bolts, but their depth has been so eroded that it’s hard to believe in the being a serious contender for the Cup. Outside of Stammer/Point/Kuch who scares you in the offense? Cerelli and Hagel are decent and Vasi is net is always solid, but this could be the year they miss the playoffs
Something that needs mentioning is their big guns are going to be fresh to start the season for the first time in years. Losing Colton will be a hit but i see big years from Hedman Kuch Point Stamkos Sergachev and Vasy. If Jeannot can go back to being a 15-20 goal guy this team will still be deep and dangerous
I honestly think Tampa isnt a playoff team at this point
So many people saying tampa wont make playoffs or will be bad is crazy. They will be well rested. Yeah they lost some key guys but their line up is still dangerous. 4th line got faster. Depth may not be as good as in previous years but still good. As long as they got kuch, point, stamkos, hedman and vasy they have a chance
Tampa is still amazing and cup contenders, maybe not necessarily winners but definitely 2nd or 3rd round. But hell florida made it to the finals and their a mid team at best.
Good overall video on the Bolts.
Couple things coming from a complete no-lifer Bolts fan.
The D-pairs are likely going to be:
Hedman-Perbix
Sergy-Raddysh
DeHaan-Cernak
And for the backup there's a good chance Hugo Alnefelt challenges Jo for that (as you said at the end)
Overall, great job tho!
4th and wild card…. Boston is going to take a step back from last year and Toronto will be lackluster with all the Mathew’s distractions so who else is above them in the Atlantic? Florida how? Because they had a lightning in a bottle moment in the playoffs but other than that a team who barely got into the playoffs? I need some more reasons why
