Letang rips one-timer missile in OT

In a high-stakes game against the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang proved to be the hero of the night. With the score tied at 2-2 and the game in ot, Letang stepped up to take advantage of a power play opportunity. Positioned at the point, Letang received a pass from teammate Evgeni Malkin and fired a blistering one-timer missile towards the net. The puck whizzed past the Rangers’ goalie and into the back of the net, securing a 3-2 victory for the Penguins.

  1. If these 2 teams meet in the playoffs it's gonna be a wild series. I expect plenty of headhunting and cross checking from the Fug's

  2. These two teams play again 2 times in 3 days later this week, almost like another playoff series.

  3. Letang had a stroke, lost his father, took a puck in the hand and face and keeps going like a warrior. Hockey players have ridiculous spirits

  4. At least the Rangiz get a point. Put them in the Metro and the 'canes in the Atkantic. It's insane to kepp the Rangers and Bruins in different divisions. NY-Boston are in the same division in every other major league.

  5. We all love the "Breadman" but that was an awful, lazy penalty in OT and the Pens made us pay…great game but my Blueshirts better get their s–t together before the playoffs start or this high-powered, high dollar glamorous lineup will be one and done…stay tuned.
