Connor is married and his Family values are more important than Hockey to him, simply put he is his Fathers Son so his Wife and Family will be his Primary focus for the rest of his life. 2 more Years and its over…..because things will in fact change. Nothing like the Gretzky sale, Connor will just move on as a Personal choice. Edmonton had most of Connors career to make hay….its not happening…..says reality.

Well listen, when you’re C.McDavid & you see a guy like J.Eichel get a ring before you it kind of ticks even more the fire he always had. He’s not a young player anymore & you can sense it in his takes. He wants to win & that’s huge for EDM.
I’m in Montreal so, w’ll have to wait our turn to have such driving forces like those two in EDM. They’re too good not to win. Kind of like Ovechkin & the Capitals type of thing.
I really don’t understand how management hasn’t been able to build a beast of a team around those two guys.
