McCarron shouldn't fight. He does it for nothing. He doesn't fight gracefully anyway. We need him on the ice, not on the bench. If you look at all of his goals, he stops in front of the net or he charges toward it. Nothing fancy looking. Just a big guy making some space. That's where he excels. His weakness and where he's most useless is against the board. He doesn't win a lot of 1vs1 battle. He should stay where he excels the most instead of trying to hit hard without getting the puck. Also his face-off percentage is quite high which is a big plus in special units. In defense he should stick to the high zone I guess to stop incoming pass with his long reach.
