  1. Actually, you pronounce Samsonov right. It's samsOnov. So don't bother yourself correcting it. And thank you a lot for all your videos! You're doing a great job.

  2. Is it just me, or would it make more sense for Olympic-style medal events to be set as a bronze-gold final and a silver-nothing second bracket?

Edit* – not another bracket tournament, meant the other final game which usually would be played for bronze

  3. Basically if your team waives you for the purposes of termination, it means you have essentially quit. If your team buys you out, it means that basically you're fired.

  4. Carolina is so ahead of the curve. In modern NHL EVERY team will need 3 top flite goalies. Hurricanes Cup 2024.

  5. Lots of speculation in Philly that this could potentially mean Hart is on the move or was involved in the world juniors sa case. I hope it's neither.

  6. On December 26, 1894, 2,500 people showed up to watch a 7 on 7 game between Johns Hopkins University and the Baltimore Athletic Club. It was held at the newly opened North Avenue Ice Palace in Baltimore. It is believed to be the first organized game of hockey ever played on a sheet of artificial ice anywhere in the world. The surface was 55 feet wide by 250 in length.

  7. I think ball hockey should be in the summer Olympics or at least some sort of bigger tournaments. I agree and don’t know why it’s not given more credit as a very important form of the beautiful sport of hockey. We used to play it on grass even. Cut the grass really short and it’s a passing version of ball hockey more than running with the ball type game.

  8. Philly needs Goaltending..
Carter Hart probably gonna be suspended.. heard a rumour he did something in a hotel room one night?

  9. "Two out of three North American teams finished with medals."
Mexico might have won a medal recently in a lower division at some competition. I know in 2017 the U-18 won a lower division in the worlds.

Street hockey is a blast. Lots of people assume places like Pittsburgh have just always been awash in ice rinks. When I was growing up in the 2000s, there were hardly enough major rinks in the area to need both hands to count. But street hockey? Hugely popular. I recently started playing in Atlanta with a group that preceded the Thrashers. They got donated legitimate boards and put them up around an abandoned tennis court at a local park, along with lights. It's great.

Regarding the vacation, we need reassurance that this isn’t a THG plot to cover up icing TEG with a convenient alibi. #JusticeForTEG

  10. Street hockey is a lot of fun and especially for Canadians in places where the only ice is usually in a drink, it's the hockey they're most likely to play with their friends.

  11. Dea appeared on a french speaking podcast recently and clips went aroung of him saying he was entertaining the idea of going to Switzerland
