Brad they say that there’s a curse on the leaves you know what that curses we gotten away from our homeland of Canada especially Ontario there’s so many kids that are on drafted and drafted by other teams but very little of it from us the Toronto Maple Leafs Don Cherry always talks about it think of this they play about 80 games plus playoffs what does the NHL play the same on one more with playoffs so the experience of three or four years in the OHLWHO and the Quebec league do you have young players that are developed to take the grind the rigorously contact hockey almost all 80 games that’s the building block so you should be drafting from there and you started this year and you will continue on stop the year pen thing they don’t know what a cup is how important it is like a little child in Ontario like a little kid seeing cups lifted and they say I want to do that and really look on the undrafted kids in Ontario at West Quebec yes Quebec you’ll be surprised how many kids in Quebec want to lift the cup in Toronto little Europeans maybe one or1,23, the rest Ontario boys

No player in the league is going to say they don't respect their coach unless your name is Crosby McDavid or Ovi.
I so hoped Keefe was going to be gone, how is it possible to sit Holl one game, then the next he is the icetime leader and not just working his minutes back up, that as a coach is just weird
The Leafs priority area of improvement is Core 4 playoff disappointments. So yes – changing the coach doesn’t necessarily improve that.
Here are areas of concern for Leaf followers & fans:
1) With JT & Matthews trend in declining play – how do other Leaf players “buy in to this unfairness” – when Matthews is paid as the top NHL player when he at least has fallen off the list of the Top 5 NHL players (certainly for playoff performances)?
2) Where Leafs Executives did not offer their top goalie a fair contract offer & forced an arbitrator to give an ok offer?
3) How unfairly Nylander is being stressed this summer – to take a “low ball” extension early before his contract expires – when Matthews & Marner are so highly paid – yet with their playoff disappointments
4) How Matthews was under duress to sign an extension- by the extremely high Leaf pay offers Leaf Executives made for him to stay in Toronto & at a time where his decline in play would cause him to have only lower pay offers in other NHL cities.
Just doesn’t look promising – that the Leafs will win 2 games next year in the second playoff round. At least there is time to correct things – so patience is best

I believe that giving the captaincy to Matthews goes a long way to changing the dynamics of the Maple Leafs. It will motivate him, invigorate energy. Nothing against JT, but let's mix things up Leafs.
That plug should have been fired when he lost to Dom Doucharme in the playoffs 3 years ago, but somehow he just keeps hanging on. I guess 1 round in 5 years is a win for MLSE, WHAT A JOKE
I think Sheldon learned a lot last yr in the playoffs.
Making it to the 2nd round taught him somethings about coaching.
Not about his guys,but about some of the dirty tricks that other coaches will use to gain an advantage, he won't fall for that again !
He will be MUCH MORE AWARE of the shit that goes on behind closed doors !😮
