I posted this on the bruins sub and got a shit ton of backlash, I just wanna say I was genuinely happy when I saw Tavares score that goal and seeing all the fans outside going fucking wild. I know how it feels to be let down by your team year after year and am totally jealous of the euphoria you guys must have felt with that goal. And seeing Steve dangles reaction was pretty awesome. Beating you guys year after year was fun lmao, but I don’t have a hatred for you like I do for the habs. Can we all just agree. FUCK THE HABS.

I don’t think most fans here will agree with me on this, but as much as I hated the Bruins, I did feel a pang of sympathy when Verhaeghe ended your season. I mean, it was these guy’s last chance to go out together and do something, to have it end like that would’ve been nothing short of brutal and gutting.
FYI: “We want Florida” was always about us wanting to see Boston go down in flames in a Game 7 and not because we actually wanted another round with another Floridian team.
