Robin Alvarez is a hardworking powerforward with good skating ability and good hands with a good shot. He’s from Malmö originally and have played for Djurgården, Frölunda, Skellefteå AIK and Timrå during his tenure outside of Skåne. He left for Djurgården when they got promoted last time and then came back to Malmö for the 16/17 and stayed two years before he left again. Before leaving for Djurgården however he did play for Malmö Redhawks from 2007/08 season all the way to 2013/2014. Today he’s 35 and he’s moving home to Malmö because of family. He’s currently in talks with Malmö Redhawks as can be seen in the news article about him in the local paper Sydsvenskan but so far Eliteprospects does not label it a rumour so we’ll see if he becomes a Malmö player or leave Sweden completely for a club abroad.
