Rival report? Really?? With all respect, please stop……………………………. BTW… Bananarama owns the "Cruel Summer" quote.. DS
Send Gibby and Carlson to the Kings for Byfield, Kaliyev, Bjornfot and some pick or two. I think Carlson is going to put up Kopi like stats and be a Selke finalist. He will be the heir apparent. Throw McTavish in their two to save him from that no fan having team.
Ducks are in the start of their build after years of siphoning off talent.
They have a few really strong pieces but those pieces aren't proven commodities like how LA built starting with Kopi and DD who are still our top minutes producers coming out of the build.
Hopefully they build well. It'll make the competition really worth something.
Also, if the Ducks improve that means teams don't come into California and focus their entire game on beating LA. We need teams to dredd traveling through Cali.
Right now if they come out of Cali winning 2 out of 3 games or possibly all 3 games that doesn't bode well for LA.
I could also do without the Rival reports but, Eddie, in your Kings state of the franchise with the Locked on San Jose Sharks guy, you said the Kings never won a division championship.
The Kings DID win a division championship, the Smythe division champions of the 1990 – 91 season.
Eddie, for shame!
Zegras, McTavish, Carlsson, Zellweger, Mintyukov, Luneau, Drysdale, Dostal…what an insane U23 core. Not even including Terry who's already a proven star. Something special brewing in OC
Eddie you were on Locked On Sharks and were animated the Kings never won a Division title. Kings won the Division in 1990–91
What was interesting (pointed out by your guest)is that the kings who 2 years ago had one of the top young talent pools have nothing to show for it with the departure of villardi and kupari.
This doesn't include Clarke who was not yet drafted.
I doubt that the ducks will go down that path.
If the kings had a decent scouting staff they never would have had to make any major trades and have the luxury of both aging but skilled veterans with a nice group of younger players on the way.
I give blake a B+ on trades and a solid D in the draft.
Gkg .
