  1. You ride and die with Vasi. Nothin but respect for the best in the world. He's going to come into game 3 mad af. He takes it personally.

  2. Goalies are weirdos, bottom line haha. But Tampa and Vasi are very clearly chasing Brodeurs record. He has proven year after year he can immediately bounce back after a bad game as well. Did Tampa not set the record for most wins following a loss in playoffs as well, going back years…..until the Avs won game 1 and 2 last year in the Finals.

  3. The record is meaningless if it includes multiple 7 goal losses and being swept in the first round. Okay, a couple cups in there too, but it's kinda meaningless to me

  4. Man u don't pulled up vasi cause of one bad game , he gave them 2 cups stop crying

  5. If only Vasey's hairline was as commited to staying in as he is lol

  6. I thought after 3 he should’ve tooken the night off the game was dead Tampa couldve had a energy shift in the first if Elly came in to wake up the rest of the team glad Toronto woke up and loved watching schenn throw down as a nucks fan

  7. You don't pull an elite goaltender like Vasi if he doesn't want to or isn't injured. He wants to fight back his way and nothing wrong with it imo.. Cooper is also an amazing coach and understands his guys..
A leafs fan here loving the back n forth series. What a mirror of 2 games

  8. As a former goaltender I understand it as its more mental then anything. He was shaky, n off the first few periods (not that he was bad) so him staying in is probably a way for him to focus to get back on top of his gane rather then sit there n play mind games with urself that u may have lost all ur talent n never play good again n two days of that could/can haunt a goalie n maybe thats happend to him in the past so its best for him to leave the ice on a better note which he did so im sure he feels better going into game 3 then he would have, had he been pulled.

  9. Leafs core were not playing their usual playoff game system. A few more games are required to see their pattern of play.

  10. You can't put too much in what Cooper said. He's backing his man. He made an assessment that Vasey needs to feel in control or he wanted to show confidence so he supported him. I'm a Leafs fan but I respect this from Cooper.

  11. Part of Vasis game is his ability to bounce back after bad or mediocre performances.

Maybe he has a person is just a guy, if he gets pulled, he loses that little edge. Coach gives him the stamp of trust, he’ll be alright

  12. When Point / Stamkos / Kucherov were sat for the 3rd period, it was not results based. Cooper said he didn't like the effort they were putting forward, so he sat them. Vasy didn't have good results Thursday, but I don't think it was for lack of effort.
