    Great show Billabong! Occ is doing such a awesome job when its not easy to do his job with his own pressures and he is harnessing, always right there with bringing his experience of the world. These guys could talk for days.

    great interview. Jack's mention of "Blazing Boards" brought back memories of Occy and and then up and comer luke egan killing it back in the 80s.

    Back when “Save Sunset Beach” bumper-stickers used to be all over O’ahu, the thought of The North Shore being developed by some Disney-like touristy resort or something was a nightmare scenario. I am glad it’s still country. It has changed some, of course, but it’s still incredibly beautiful. I love Da North Shore.

    me: loves surfing, guitar, and uke
    me: adores old surf films by Bruce Brown, Jack McCoy, and of course Occy…

    everyone around me in chicago: "why do you look and act like such a dork?"

    i really need to move to hawaii…maybe i could make some friends like jack and occy -_-

    hey Occy one year in JBAY , I was standing at the bar in the mexican, you were right next to me . Taylor, Kelly, Craig and clayton were doing pull ups on the rafters. But you offfered to buy me a beer and then you did the panda dance for my friend hahahaha you such a legend bru and always will be the greatest come back story in the history of surfing.
