Yes they closed the gap. No, they're not a playoff team.
I voted "closed the gap", choosing my interpretation of the question, but cautiously. The two biggest variables are injuries and the relative performance of the competition. Not mentioned is the fact that they're going into the season with what appears a very competent, professional coaching staff, and the work being done in Abbotsford should start paying dividends as well.
Is Pierre Luc Dubois all that ? I say he's a disappointment and he's no loss certainly not for what they got back for him
If every player plays up to their best version, and if every player can stay 100 per cent healthy, then the Nucks will sneak into the playoffs. Having said that, they are NOT making the playoffs again this year. Sorry.
