  1. Leafs robbed the Avs. Kadri/Kerfoot is almost a wash. And then salary retained + Barrie and the rest of the deal is a huge win for TOR. I canā€™t believe Toronto didnā€™t have to pay a 1st/2nd

  2. Hey there's Steve Dingle still repping the pride in July, Sportsnet really went all out promoting perversion last month, we all love left wing politics mixed in with sports, not a lot of people know that Steve is bisexual.

  3. Good trade for both. Im sure the only reason the Avs got a 3rd rd pick was because of the salary they retained. As an Avs fan im intrigued by Rosen.

  4. I think, righ now the Leafs won this trade. Going to love seeing Kapanen, Mathews & Johnson paired with Reilly & Barrie (or something similar to that)! That'll be some heavy offense. All in all, it's great that we have options & a more balanced team! Hopefully we'll be able to resign 3 of the top 4 of the defense after this year!

  5. Every year the Leafs defense gets exploited in the playoffs. So they go out and get another offensive defenseman. Makes sense.

  6. Mcnabb completely over sold both players evpecially kerfoot my god and its dissapoinyinh that he has to putz around for the toronto media like that

  7. Both teams really benefited from this. With the young D exploding into its potential in Colorado, they kinda had to move Barrie (makar easily fills his spot), they get Kadri whoā€™s great, and whatā€™s his face can easily become a good 6-7 d man.
Toronto desperately needed to get that Blue line fixed and donā€™t listen to folks who say Barrie isnā€™t good defensively, he is.

  8. Leaf fans. Will Barrie play on the first pp unit? He will be wasted if he isnt.

  9. This was a great trade for both teams Tyson is great but Iā€™m Iā€™m going to miss nazšŸ˜£ good luck in Colorado naz

  10. This is a huge win for Toronto, if and only if they can keep these guys. How would this look if Tyson walks next season… no Kadri no Barrie, back to the drawing board needing a top right handed D-man. Hope it all works out…

  11. Typical Peter McNabb praising the other team… is it just me or was this interview all about the leafs and not about the the AVS new future…. if McNabb is involved in it …its all about the other team… I'm so sick of McNabb he is by far the worst home town announcer…

  12. Lol you Toronto guys are funny. During our skid last year Barrie was horrible. And I mean horrible in his own end. Maybe our worst player. His plus minus would be far worse but he always played with top line

  13. If the Leafs don't win the cup this next season, which they probably won't, then the Avs dominated this trade. Leafs so weak up the middle and on defense, better score 7 goals a game

  14. "Good old fashioned hockey trade" as expressed by TSN inside analyst Brian Lawton, meaning you give up the type of player or players you have sufficient stock of on your roster to a team that allows you to acquire a player or players with traits that are lacking or need improvement on your team. If that would be the case in this trade then it would be apparent that Tyson Barrie needs to be a better defender in the D zone to make this trade a "good old fashioned" trade.

  15. kadri back up to 30 goals in Colorado. the leafs had to move kadri into shut down role on third line. we needed a right shot defenceman. if barrie leaves next year. this was unreal move by sackic. picked up a 30 goal scorer for a couple more years at 4 million and new barrie wasnt signing back.

  16. The Toronto media love-in begins. What these guys don't mention is that Barrie had a minus 34 rating in the 2017 season. Just a few years ago.
