  1. Rest in peace šŸ˜¢RJ. šŸ™. As a Sabre fanatic that bleeds blue and gold this is a šŸ˜” day. Let's go Buffalo. Hug a Sabre fan today, every day šŸ˜¢.

  2. Did Bowman have a gag order on the media, forbidding any criticism of himself? His playoff record in Buffalo got worse and worse every year, in fact 85 was the last year his Buffalo teams would even qualify for the playoffs, then they missed the next 2 years and he was finally gone. Really why this franchise hasn't moved elsewhere after over 50 years of futility, is a mystery to me. I gave up on them after their first-round loss to powder-blue Pittsburgh in 1979.

  3. IINM, and IIRC, the night before this (4/6/1985) saw the Sabres win in Toronto. Had they brought that same determination and grit back home on Easter Night, things might've been different in the playoffs.

  4. The legendary status at this table is crazy. Was this a weekly show or after every game? What an amazing idea of a show

  5. Never was a fan of Jim Kelley. He couldn't even hold a hockey stick properly on the intro to Empire Sports. He was a blowhard know it all. And for the life of me I don't know who he had fellatio with to be the president of the writers association but he was a jerk. Just ask Hasek.
