I can’t explain my excitement level to see him grow and play way more NHL games this year. His future is so bright, and we need to sign him and Knies long-term next July 1.

Great show. Love the player prospects. I hope Woll grabs the reins and its jones chasing him. I like samsonov but gotta get that paper.
I know nothing about goaltending but just watching him he looks very well positioned and in control
I think this is a huge year for Woll to show he belongs in the NHL we got a good tiny feel for him last year.Last good goalie that came though the leafs System was Potvin its been way to long. GO LEAFS GO
Woll is the man , samsonov should be the backup come playoff time.
Weird how every goalie the leafs have developed that has any potential was stole by other teams and never became starters.
I think Woll plays around 25-30 games

Facepalm, fans were not chanting we want Florida. They were chanting both we want the Bruins, and we want Florida, because those were the options at that point.
Imo Woll will be the #1 in 2 years and to sign Sammy long term at 5+ million would be a big mistake.
Many goalies have success in the NHL but not so much in the AHL.
The NHL game is more structured which goalies benefit from, so it seems they are struggling in the AHL
The draft selections executed in the Lamoriello era in rounds 2-7 were pretty much useless. Woll appears to be an exception. He looks calm, agile & focused in the net & may be a beneficiary of the wise hiring of Curtis Sanford. Sanford definitely helped Samsonov & it would not surprise me if his coaching has made an impact on Woll. He was awsome playing for the Marlies, really good in 7 regular season Leaf games & was solid (except for Reinhart's OT goal game 3 vs Florida). In his defence, the real culprit was crap D-zone coverage by Brodie & McCabe.

Woll is impressive. Very efficient getting from one side of the net to the other. Covers his angles really well!!
I agree with everything you said. I also agree that wall did a great job in playoffs last season and that he will do a great job for the team this year go leafs go.
