Jesse, your camera is really too low, should be at nose bridge height. Like your insights. Josh R. (hands!) needs time to build pro rink skating and compete level. No E. Bear! no new D. -they have the D. prospects. No Jesse P. Try out Jesse Yvonne for real 2 years younger.
I think the habs are in a tough spot where signings are tricky because of how many players that could fill those bottom spots. We need to offload players, not add to the logjam. I wonder if they would consider shipping someone like Ylonen or Barron for picks or to help with the Desmith deal. I think that we need to either sign some talent to truly fill those spots or make some breathing room for the young guys to claim the spot. In the next couple years, I cant imagine adding another 5-6 NHL calibre prospects (Roy, Beck, Hutson, Mailloux, Reinbacher, etc.) to our lineup without simply having too many.
Imagine a deal where we ship Desmith, Ylonen/Barron for a solid middle 6 guy and/or picks. I think that helps the logjam and makes us better. Maybe Detroit or Ottawa?

Tatar? What makes you think you can get something for him at the trade deadline when a team can have him now for free? We already have RHP who is similar. Puljujarvi is intriguing because of his pedigree.
The only reason Evans got the contract was for Bergevin to prove that he can draft and develop, because there weren't many.

1) I would prefer using Desmith to assist in getting rid of Armia's contract. I think clearing up the space for more younsters is more valuable right now than a 4th or 5th rounder
2) i would prefer signing Tatar.
I knowcthis is against what i wrote in my first point, BUT we can flip him PLUS Gallagher had his best years with Tatar. MAYBE we could trade both at the deadline?
I think Gallagher has the worst contract on the team.
Great topics,,,recent subscriber here….lifelong Habs fan of 49 years…as for pto's: I could see an invite to Adam Erne, Kieffer Bellows, or Ondrej Kase. All are under 30 and if Hughes moves some bodies around in trades, there could be some openings. Bellows could even be signed to a minors deal if both see a benefit to it. I do think the goalie situation needs to be straightened out before training camp, as having the three around, plus Primeau will lead to more attention than is needed.
We don't need another Armia in Puljujarvi.
Reinbacher needs 25 pounds or enforcers retaliating on every hit against him.

Reinbacher could play with Kovacevic or Barron??? two right-handers on the same pair never happens. Let's give a pass on this video to our hosts

If there’s no market there’s no market on Desmith. He’s not moving until camp underway and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s only picked up on waivers.

Habs have 26 roster players for 23 roster positions. I'm hoping that a DeSmith trade results in a net -1 reduction in roster players, but that leaves little hope of Beck, Roy or any prospect cracking the lineup out of camp. I can't see them signing Tatar or pool party for the same reason. Puljujarvi is an enigma that even MSL cannot motivate to find his potential.
Armia and Desmith to Vancouver for Myers and a 3rd…?…Myers my make more then Armia but he only has 1 season left then we let him go to FA. Then Armia is gone, Myers is gone after one year and you get a 3rd instead of a 4th or 5th. For Vancouver, Myer has been awful and they need every million of a cap space right now and they have a much upgraded blueline and their backspot is a big question mark, Martin was awful last year and Silovs is still very young and unproven so Desmith would fit great in Vancouver.
