Don’t get me wrong, the PPG being higher than Alexis Lafrenière and Quinton Byfield is a great thing, but there’s so much more to that to Marco Rossi’s game. In this episode of Why I Want, we’re going over the most productive prospect in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. He’s a guy who’s leading the OHL in scoring right now, as a 5’9″ Austrian centre for the Ottawa 67’s. Trust me, he’s pushing his way higher and higher up the draft rankings with his stellar play.
The draft is stacked with guys like Alexis Lafrenière at the top, with Quinton Byfield, Tim Stützle, Lucas Raymond, Alexander Holtz, Jamie Drysdale, Marco Rossi, Cole Perfetti, Jake Sanderson, and Yaroslav Askarov rounding out the top 10. The rest of the draft has a ton of great talent as well, like Anton Lundell, Kaiden Guhle, Dawson Mercer, Braden Schneider, Dylan Holloway, Hendrix Lapierre, Connor Zary, Justin Barron, Jack Quinn, John-Jason Peterka, William Wallinder, Rodion Amirov, Jacob Perreault, Seth Jarvis, Ty Smilanic, Jeremie Poirer, Noel Gunler, Mavrik Bourque, Lukas Reichel, Tyler Kleven, Ridly Greig, Justin Sourdif, Shakir Mukhamadullin, Jake Neighbours, Luke Tuch, Helge Grans, Jan Mysak, Michael Benning, and Antonio Stranges.

Why I want Jamie Drysdale, The New Jersey Devils franchise savior defensemen.
My 3rd favourite prospect in 2020
He was playing u17 at 13 years old and putting up a point per game he could easily be a steal
Can you make a video talking about ivan miroshenko, matvei michkov and kirill dolzhenkov please ?
He is the second best player in 2020 draft
McMicheal?
Best Center in the Draft no question for me anymore
lafreniere will win CHL player of the year but rossi will the Goal section of that. and I can't wait for the Kelowna memorial cup. Ordering a Ottawa 67's poles jersey with rossi on it . Going to get that shit signed when he sends his Ottawa 67's here.
He isn't outscoring lafreniere
I would be happy if Ottawa draft him as their future 1c
110 points now since this video.
I wachted Perfetti and Rossi shift by shift but Perfetti impressed me much more than Rossi!Rossi plays in the best Ohlteam with a couple of 20 year old strong players that makes him better.Draft from 6—-10.
Austrian power😉🇦🇹🇦🇹
Rossi is what I would call an offensive “genius” makes players around him better more than they make him better. He is on an elite stacked team yes, and his point could be a bit inflated, but he is by far the best player on his team, not Quin Button lol
ROSSI is 5'9" 190 lbs solid muscle. one of the top faceoff people and is the top defensive forward in the OHL. He is a prototypical Ottawa centre in that he can play offence really well but is also a defensive centre. He makes his linemates a lot better
2nd or 3rd pick in the Draft!
If the Wings pick 4th, Rossi is my top choice. I think he's being undervalued because of his size. With a team that could use more game-breaking skill playing down the middle, I think Rossi is a really good fit. He's adaptable to just about any situation you throw him in, his ceiling is astronomically high, and his work ethic and shift-by-shift consistency is incredible. I don't think they need to pick another winger, I think their need at D prospects isn't as high, and I personally think his all-around game is more polished than other centers ranked around his area like Perfetti.
As a sens/67s fan I know that the 67s are amazing right now so I would like to know how much the team around him effects him
I hope that the sens manage to get stutzle and Rossi they are my 2 favourite players in the draft but i can never complain if we get 2 of Byfield/Stutzle/Rossi/Raymond/Drysdale/Holtz I do think Rossi will be going either 4 to Detroit or 5 to Ottawa I cant really see teams letting someone with 120 points in like 55 games fall out of the top 5
I get where you’re coming from I’ve seen some other stuff on him and I think he’s rated pretty low due to his skating skill people say it could use some refining and being shorter and not having that good of skating is bringing his rating down.
The Redwings have quite a decision ahead of them at 4. Rossi, Stutzle, Drysdale, Pefetti, or Raymond!? Is Sandersen the hidden gem or will Askarov be the gold standard and the player you don't pass on. I'm glad I don't have to make the choice
